The Creative Fuse Team at Sunderland’s next virtual writing retreat will take place on Monday 10th January 2022, from 10am until 4.30 pm. We offer support to those seeking to start a doctoral degree be they researchers, academics or organisational colleagues who would like to take the first steps towards a PhD. A writing retreat helps writers to step outside of their everyday activities and focus on delivering the work in hand. Our retreats will be facilitated to help the writers stay on task, to give them structure in analysing what needs to be done and to give social space that helps create a valuable shared experience. You can drop in and out of sessions as you are able don’t think you need to join every session… would be great if you could though.
The focus of this day is to understand the steps required to present a strong PhD proposal, we will break this down into a series of steps that will support you in further developing your research ideas.
