Sam Murray

Sam’s research interests include creative policy-making and examining the impact of devolution on cultural policy. He is also interested in how the arts can be used as part of cultural regeneration.

Sam joined the Creative Fuse team after working with Creative Cardiff on their mapping project resulting in the report Cardiff Creative Capital : Mapping Cardiff’s Creative Economy. Sam also worked as a research associate for the Festivals Research Group at Cardiff University taking part in an innovative interdisciplinary project exploring the Sŵn festival. He is currently completing a PhD on sustainability within the music scene in Portland, Oregon.
