Beryl Graham is Professor of New Media Art at the University of Sunderland, and is co-founder of the CRUMB platform for curators of new media art. She has curated the international exhibition Serious Games for the Laing and Barbican art galleries, and she has published extensively on new media art, including ‘Digital Media Art’ (Heinemann 2003), ‘Rethinking Curating: Art After New Media’ (MIT Press), and ‘New Collecting: Exhibiting and Audiences’ (Ashgate). She is also a regular speaker at key industry conferences including Navigating Intelligence (Banff Center for the Arts, Canada), Decoding the Digital (Victoria and Albert Museum), and Cultural Value and the Digital (Tate Modern).

Her interest in the Creative FUSE project centres on establishing equal partnerships between commercial and non-commercial art, design and media sectors, to produce world-leading public activities, including exhibitions. This is based around leading the MA Curating course, the Professional Development Course in London and supervising PhD students in this area.
