Benefits to those supported

Our research, and the data and evidence that underpins it, is intended to improve future support for and development of the creative sector in the region.

We use this research to respond to policy calls for information, to engage with and influence key stakeholders, as well as often sharing more widely with the sector.

What does this look like?

Newcastle’s Creative Fuse team are working with national partners to map and survey the sector using new techniques that will provide for improved analysis and coverage of the sector. This data will be used to inform and engage with sector policy.

We hope to collaborate soon with the Creative Industries Policy & Evidence Centre on their current Creative Radar research programme which is mapping the UK’s creative industries. Read more here.
