A range of events is delivered on a one-off or monthly basis.
We’ll be hosting our Creative Fuse conference in 2022, but we are particularly known for our Creative Fuse CAKE (Collaboration and Knowledge Exchange) monthly events bringing together a wide range of speakers and topics across creativity and innovation.
Each themed CAKE event has expert speakers delivering short presentations that explore opportunities and innovation challenges. The events generate debate, explorative discussion and stimulate new ideas and collaborations by looking at each event’s theme from a variety of different perspectives.
Each CAKE event is 90 minutes.

Our CAKE (Collaboration and Knowledge Exchange) Events aim to bring people together from across the creative industries and universities, get people talking, and kickstart new connections and unlikely collaborations.

Our 2022 Creative Fuse Conference will take place over two days this September, and will bring together businesses, creative practitioners, and expertise from the region’s five universities to support the vibrant, dynamic, and fast-growing Creative, Digital and IT (CDIT) sector.
14th September – Middlesbrough Town Hall, Middlesbrough
15th September – City Campus East, Northumbria University
