Creative Boost

1 April 2022

Creative Boost will facilitate creative SMEs to try their ideas and business plans, hit milestones and create evidence of commercial sustainability, as a potential gateway to future funding through loans and equity.

Through the North of Tyne Culture and Creative Investment Programme, funded by the North of Tyne Combined Authority, Creative UK are investing £1.5m in loans in the North of Tyne’s cultural and creative industries.

Introducing ‘Creative Boost’ – a new offer of unsecured, low-interest business loans of £25,000 for Creative SMEs based in the North of Tyne Combined Authority area.

This is a unique opportunity which will act as a gateway for early-stage and post-revenue creative businesses to develop their business models and evidence of commercial sustainability, to access potential future funding through loans and equity.

Applications will be assessed on a rolling basis till the deadline of 31st May 2022. Check the offer details, eligibility, guidelines, and APPLY HERE.

Businesses are encouraged to apply as soon as possible to increase chances of success – only 10 Creative SMEs will be funded through Creative Boost. The deadline may be bought forward if fund has been allocated early.

This investment opportunity sits alongside Creative UK’s existing offers for larger loans and equity investments. And the investment programme comes with business support. If you are looking to become investment ready, Creative UK are inviting applications for an interactive, online workshop series – ‘An Investment Mindset’ apply here by 11 April – that will support a cohort of enterprises to improve their sustainability or growth aspirations by developing a commercial mindset.
