The Brighton Fuse report, published in 2013, had a significant initial and lasting impact on research, business, regional development, and policy in the Creative Industries. It generated questions and directions for further projects - including Creative Fuse North East - on creativity, technology and clustering.
Ten years later, the 'Fuse at Ten' report will be launched at the House of Lords on 16th May 2023 to celebrate, promote and consider the relationship between creativity and digital technologies within both individual businesses and their clusters. The Brighton Fuse report was highly influential on its release in 2013, and the Creative Fuse North East and Wired Sussex teams have been investigating what the real ongoing impacts of this research look like a decade on.
