Creative Fuse North East is a project with multiple partners and multiple strands of activity. This means there are many ways to get involved, including accessing funding, business innovation support and specialist advice.

We deliver activity within both the North East and Tees Valley LEP Regions, so please check your eligibility before signing up to a programme, as not all ERDF-funded activities will be available in both LEP regions. If you’re not sure about your organisation’s eligibility, please get in touch.
Creative Fuse offer funding and support for businesses to host project-based student placements. Our talented students will work to a brief specifically developed to meet your business needs. Innovation Support Programmes
From intensive ideas generation workshops to bespoke innovation development programmes and sub-sector-specific schemes, Creative Fuse North East provides a great range of support for your business. Have a browse through our summary to find out how we can help. Over the coming months, the Creative Fuse teams across the five universities will be running the following programmes:
Join us for CAKE – every second Thursday of the month, Creative Fuse bring together the region’s Creative, Digital and IT Sector for a Collaboration and Knowledge Exchange (CAKE) Event. We choose a theme that cuts across sectors, round up some speakers from industry, academia and creative practice, and listen to short presentations about some really interesting ideas. Afterwards, there is a Q&A Session, networking, and free cake.
Creative Fuse North East Innovation Fund
Through the Creative Fuse Innovation Fund, we are able to support 31 Innovation Pilot Projects. These projects have now been announced, see the project summaries here
