Coding and creative practice
Andrew works as a senior lecturer in Interactive Media and Motion Graphics and his background combines both academic and practical work. His research has included examining the use of computation within the context of creative practice, exploring the process of using code as a way of making with the ‘raw material’ of programming language. He has exhibited and presented digital interactive artwork in exhibitions and festivals both nationally and internationally.
Andrew’s research interests focus on the use programming code as a creative material for creative practice, linking the process of creating using code with traditional decorative design work.
